Bishop Arthur J. Serratelli
Bishop Serratelli was installed as the seventh bishop of Paterson, New Jersey on July 6, 2004. He has been awarded numerous degrees including a licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Biblical Institute and a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Gregorian University. He is the Chariman of the USCCB Ad hoc Sub-Committee for the Review of Scripture Translations, and the Commissioner of the International Committee on English in the Liturgy (ICEL). Dr. Michael Barber
Dr. Michael Barber is professor of theology and Scripture at John Paul the Great University. He received an MA in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and completed his PhD in theology at Fuller. Dr. Barber is the host of "Reasons for Faith Live" on EWTN's Radio Network and the author of several books, including, Coming Soon: Unlocking the Book of Revelation and Applying Its Lessons Today. Jeff Cavins is the director of the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota. Over the past several years, he has dedicated his life to developing The Great Adventure, a practical, interactive Bible study program that enables students to understand the chronological flow of Sacred Scripture. Jeff holds an MA in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He resides with his wife, Emily, and their daughters in Minnesota.
Sarah Christmyer
Sarah Christmyer is the editor of The Great Adventure Bible Study series, author or co-author of several Great Adventure studies, and author of The Bible Timeline Guided Journal. A Bible study teacher since 1999, Sarah helped launch Catholic Scripture Study (CSS) for Catholic Exchange and is co-author of two Bible studies on Genesis, published by Emmaus Road. She lives near Philadelphia with her husband, Mark, and their children.
Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio
Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio received his PhD in historical theology from the Catholic University of America where he worked under the direction of the renowned Jesuit theologian, Avery Cardinal Dulles. Dr. D'Ambrosio is the director of Crossroads Productions, an apostolate focused on Catholic renewal and evangelization. He, his wife, Susan, and their children reside near San Antonio, TX. Dr. Mary Healy
Dr. Mary Healy teaches Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and speaks nationally and internationally on topics related to Scripture, the Theology of the Body, and the spiritual life. She holds a doctorate in biblical theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and serves as chair of the Doctrinal Commission of International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services. She is the author of several books and co-editor of the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture. Dr. Andrew Jones
Dr. Andrew Jones is the director of Catholic products at Logos Bible Software. He holds a PhD in ecclesiastical history from St. Louis University. Andrew has taught history at Lindenwood University and St. Louis University and has written multiple articles on the medieval Church. He is currently finishing a book on the history of the problem of Church and state. Thomas Smith
Thomas Smith was a Protestant minister before being received into the Catholic Church in 1996. He previously served as the director of the Denver Catholic Biblical School and the Denver Catechetical School. A repeat guest on EWTN and Catholic radio as well as a sought-after parish mission and conference speaker, he is the co-author of Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come, a Great Adventure Bible study.
Dr. Brant Pitre
Dr. Brant Pitre is a professor of Sacred Scripture at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans. He holds a PhD in theology from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Pitre is the author of Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist and Jesus, the Tribulation, and the End of the Exile. He is currently working on a new book called Jesus and the Last Supper. He lives in the New Orleans area with his wife and their children. Fr. Mark Toups
Fr. Mark Toups is a priest for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, where he serves as director of seminarians. In addition, he works with the Institute for Priestly Formation, specializing in communications, development, and spiritual direction. He is the author and presenter of a new study called Oremus: A Guide to Catholic Prayer. Fr. Toups received his master of divinity degree from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.
