National Catholic Bible Conference Testimonials

The Conference has made a profound difference in my spiritual life.
— Beth W.

The National Catholic Bible Conference just gets better year after year. This is the conference to attend if you're serious about Bible study. The speakers are clearly some of the most astute Bible scholars today. Fantastic, stimulating, and faith building!
— Judith R.

We are so blessed to have been able to learn from all of the great scholars and teachers who have come together in this one place!
— Theresa S.

What could be better than hearing the nation’s top Biblical Scholars outline God’s plan of sheer goodness for our lives and His call to each of us? This year's National Catholic Bible Conference, Scripture and God’s Plan for Your Life, left me transformed and renewed in my love for God’s word.
— Sandy W.

It was an awesome conference. The diversity of speakers from varied backgrounds made it an invigorating experience. While the theme, Scripture and God's Plan for Your Life was always kept in focus, the different directions of the presentations, knowledge, transformation and mission, gave the conference a unique appeal. To have the Archbishop celebrate Mass and give a talk was a gift. He was very welcoming. He is an engaging speaker.
— Fr. Jim Oliver, Philadelphia, PA

The conference was the perfect opportunity to introduce some friends and family members to Scripture study in a way that set them on fire for the faith.
— Gregg P.

A truly enriching spiritual experience! An experience every Catholic should share.
— Carol S

The NCBC offered a time and space for our Heavenly Lord to refuel me with the focus and zeal for the extraordinary mission to bring souls to Him. To be amidst a Shepherd, Archbishop Chaput, who has led the birth, growth and protection of the New Evangelization in the United States of America, gave me tremendous hope! The cooperative leadership of Ascension Press, Augustine Institute, and the Denver Biblical School made visible for me the call of Vatican II for the laity to transform the world with their life witness and their convinced proclamation that Jesus Christ Reigns as Lord and Savior! It reminded me that His Word is alive, real and transformative. It reenergized me with stamina and fortitude to hold firm amidst the trials, to step forward in truth and to dance with joy in the Lord's friendship. The NCBC offered me tools to bring home to my parish! It connected me with zealous and well trained lay apostles and clearly affirmed I am not alone in the work of the New Evangelization. Quite the contrary ,I have an incredible network of friends throughout this nation all focused on the same mission! None of this would be possible without the invaluable support of my Beloved Pastor, Msgr. Seamus F. Brennan, who has the courage, fortitude and insight to give pastoral birth, growth and protection to our humble New Evangelization initiative at Immaculate Conception Parish in New Jersey. For all of this, especially the reality of solidarity, I am eternally grateful!
— Patti J.

This year's NCBC was better than I expected! No ‘talk’ was repeated over the two days, making it difficult to choose which track to attend! I had to buy the CD's. They'd be so worth getting, even if I hadn't attended! Understanding how our worldview affects our choices, how angels affect our lives, and how to pray through pain, has already made a helpful difference in my life. Thank you!
— Resi S.

This conference was about God's plan for us through scripture and each talk I attended brought me closer to what the Lord truly wants and plans for me. I was inspired. I sometimes question what the Lord's plan is for me, but I feel that I have been given tools to understand better what it is I need to do. I loved every talk I attended and each talk made me think more about what the Lord is saying to me. I hope I can listen and respond to the blessing He has given me and still holds for my future.
— Darlene

It was spiritually energizing to gather with like-minded Catholics to worship God in the liturgy and learn more of Him through His Word.
